About Us

Kashmir cell is a semi autonomous department of Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Which has been established on May 7, 1987 ; for the projection & publicity of Kashmir issue.

          Kashmir cell is working under the direct supervision of the Honorable Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Objectives:

a.     Projection of Kashmir issue at National and International level.

·        Organize conference, seminars, rallies , group , discuss, walks  etc .

·        Print and publish literature on Kashmir .

·        Media projection of Kashmir issue.

b.     Steps for accession of the State of Jammu &Kashmir to Pakistan .

c.      Publication of history of Kashmir Liberation Movement ; and

d.     All other matters which may be assigned to the Kashmir cell by the government .

e.      Protection of Human rights in Kashmir .

Administration :

·        Honorable Prime Minister Azad Jammu & Kashmir is the chairman of Kashmir cell .

·        Secretary S&GAD is Principal Accounting Officer.

·        Secretary Kashmir Cell is administrative head of Department .

·        Kashmir Cell Secretariat Muzaffarabad is head office, whereas following are the sub offices / contact Offices .

·        Kashmir Center Rawalpindi .

·        Kashmir Center Lahore .

·        Kashmir Center Karachi .
